ABOUT
African Women Solidarity is a non-governmental organization, a political and not profit making organization founded in the United States of America by African Women residing in that particular country.
The visionaries of this organization were prompted by Cultural practice that embede the lives of most African Communities which do not give any room to women and girls to raise their voices to speak out about their rights. Despite of myriads efforts undertaken by multiple stakeholder, partial rchal system in most of African Communities still silence women and girl hence the increase of physical, physiological oppression as well as economic opportunity deprivation.
The visionaries of this organization were motivated by the fact the women and girl children in African Communities express their sincere need to speak out their needs and fight for their rights. This intrinsic motivation among African girl children and women lifted up the dreamers of this NGO to fund it.
